Don't come crying!

Hilary Butler - Monday, March 02, 2009

One of the societal tools used against those who chose not to vaccinate is the “don’t come crying” line. Read Full Blog

Tamiflu garage sale anyone?

Hilary Butler - Thursday, January 08, 2009

You remember all the paranoia about that pandemic cash-cow called bird flu? You remember that the New Zealand humoured whatsisname... Rumsfeld??   ... who profits gazillions from the company that makes Tamiflu, by buying a few million dollars worth of a useless drug, which wasn't necessary, and is now well past it's use-by date? Well, don't hold your breath, about either the value of Tamiflu, or whether Bird Flu will naturally find it's way here any time soon, or that any vaccine with be worth having. Read Full Blog

Pinnochio's nose and Peter Flegg

Hilary Butler - Saturday, November 29, 2008

As the UK medical gestapo proclaim 1,000 measles cases a national disaster, and go after parents who have refused to vaccinate their children against measles, there is an interesting "discussion" at the BMJ website. Peter Flegg, an infectious disease specialist has made some extraordinary claims. That's nothing new. He's done that at the BMJ for years. For those who want are keenly following the UK situation, here is the debateRead Full Blog

Big Brother to police hospital handwashing?

Hilary Butler - Monday, November 24, 2008

Dr Robert Wachter runs a blog which is well worth adding to your regular reading list. His Bio shows that he’s well qualified to talk about many things, and does so with a degree of candidness you don’t see in this country. A recent blog which interested me was the possibility of putting cameras into hospitals to try to raise the inadequate hand washing amongst staff. It would appear that since many nurses and doctors don’t appear to be motivated to wash their hands, some consider the answer is “Big Brother”. Anyone trained by the medical profession 170 years after hand washing debates started, who doesn’t think washing their hands is important needs their heads looking at. Read Full Blog

Whooping cough lies, ad infinitum

Hilary Butler - Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Whenever whooping cough breaks out in Australia, the medical profession indulge in their usual lies about why they are having (*yawn*) yet another whooping cough outbreak. This year is no exception except the lies have a little extra bribery and fearmongering twisted into the foment provided to the media. Read Full Blog

Film Review - "Orgasmic Birth"

Hilary Butler - Thursday, October 09, 2008

“Orgasmic Birth” is an awesome film, in the true sense of the word, talking to the deepest needs of women, at the gut, emotional, and intellectual level. In one sense, words fail me. The film follows home birthing parents growing and being reborn as different people, fulfilling their full potential of parenthood, and in particular womanhood. Interwoven are scenes of emotionally bereft, stark hospital births. This film confirmed what I’ve seen and known for so many years. The two systems can “birth” completely different families.  Read Full Blog

More taxpayer-funded Gardasil propaganda

Hilary Butler - Friday, September 05, 2008

I sit here looking at the latest Ministry of Health HE2013 taxpayer funded propaganda for the "Cervical cancer Vaccine", Gardasil.  It's a 21 board-page 'quick flipchart', which tells you nothing more than the two websites mentioned in the last blog. Read Full Blog

Australian parents on the run

Hilary Butler - Sunday, August 24, 2008

Vaccination law in New South Wales, Australia is very clear.  If a mother is hepatitis B surface antigen positive, the parents can be offered immunoglobulin and the vaccine for the baby, and if the parents say, "No", the paper work is completed and that's it. But that's not what happened in Australia this week. Dr David Isaacs, who was not even involved in the case to begin with, decided it was time to make an "example" of two parents. What he didn't realise was that he picked the wrong target, and that they would go into hiding. Furthermore, he also forgot the story of Liam Holloway, and what happens when other parents are outraged when doctors abuse parents, as well as the law. Read Full Blog
