Does the plot thicken?

Hilary Butler - Friday, September 02, 2011

On 29th August, I wrote a blog about a blog discussing a doctor in Sweden who found arsenic in the Swine Flu vaccine.  An astute reader reminded me of a 2009 finding, reported in Science Daily (pdf) informing readers that arsenic exposure, compromised the immune system when it came to swine flu:

"The ability to mount an immune response to influenza A (H1N1) infection is significantly compromised by a low level of arsenic exposure that commonly occurs through drinking contaminated well water, scientists at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) and Dartmouth Medical School have found.

"When a normal person or mouse is infected with the flu, they immediately develop an immune response," says Hamilton, in which immune cells rush to the lungs and produce chemicals that help fight the infection. However, in mice that had ingested 100 ppb (parts per billion) arsenic in their drinking water for five weeks, the immune response to H1N1 infection was initially feeble, and when a response finally did kick in days later, it was "too robust and too late," Hamilton says. "There was a massive infiltration of immune cells to the lungs and a massive inflammatory response, which led to bleeding and damage in the lung." Morbidity over the course of the infection was significantly higher for the arsenic-exposed animals than the normal animals. "

and

"Arsenic does not accumulate in the body over a lifetime, as do other toxic metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury. "Arsenic goes right through us like table salt," Hamilton says. "We believe for arsenic to have health consequences, it requires exposure day after day, year after year, such as through drinking water.""

(Hilary - Okay, but what happens if you INJECT  the arsenic (- which the Swedish doctor said were found at concentrations of  arsenic [As] = 2.421 ppm and tin [Sn] = 1,511 ppm -) as part of a flu vaccine into the muscle?  Does THAT arsenic, go through you like ....  table salt?")

"Arsenic exposure not only disrupts the innate immune system, as the present study shows, it also disrupts the endocrine (hormonal) system in an unusually broad way, which Hamilton's laboratory discovered and first reported in 1998.

"Most chemicals that disrupt hormone pathways target just one, such as the estrogen pathway," he says. "But arsenic disrupts the pathways of all five steroid hormone receptors (estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, glucocorticoids, and mineralocorticoids), as well as several other hormone pathways. You can imagine that just this one effect could play a role in cancer, diabetes, heart disease, reproductive and developmental disorders–all the diseases that have a strong hormonal component."

So ... is there arsenic, injected along with Pandemrix.....???

What would we find if all the other H1N1 vaccines were tested for heavy metals as well?  If arsenic and tin was found in them all..... how would it have got there, and ......   why?

Hmmm... is all I have to say.  !!~!! Read Full Blog

On "Sciblogs" and throwing stones.

Hilary Butler - Wednesday, September 08, 2010

Oh the irony of it all. Peter Griffin of Sciblogs fame reckons he has H1N1.  Would love to know how he knows that. After all, the only people being tested for H1N1 are those in ICU. Not even “normal” patients in the “fly-by" outpatients get tested. Perhaps he has special connections? Called in a favour maybe? Perhaps he should post the ‘laboratory proof’ for his claims on his sciblogs page?  Read Full Blog

On the matter of Dr Anthony J Morris.

On the matter of Dr Anthony J Morris, my verdict on the research skills of the non-skeptics is quite simple.  Read Full Blog

When in a hole, stop digging, wouldn'tya think?

Hilary Butler - Sunday, June 06, 2010

Why doesn't the World Health Organisation stop making fools of themselves? As reported in the Washington Post two European reports have been very critical of the WHO's handling of the swine flu pandemic. WHO's reply? "The idea that we declared a pandemic when there wasn't a pandemic is both historically inaccurate and downright irresponsible," said WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl in a telephone interview. "There is no doubt that this was a pandemic. To insinuate that this was not a pandemic is very disrespectful to the people who died from it."  Read Full Blog

IMAC’s latest "find" – Phillip Matthews

Hilary Butler - Friday, May 14, 2010

On May 8th, IMAC scored a coup with this patsy plant, in the Press.  This article is stunning - not for it's factual or investigative, intelligent content, but for the seeming naive gullibility of the reporter, who it would appear didn't realise that he was asked to come for a walk, like a little puppy dog.  I can just see it now. Someone walks in and asks, “Who is the most provaccine reporter here?”, ... and hands them suitably predigested material on a plate.  Pre-written, with the "right" slant, just as it "should" be! “What we need is a re-port-er, okay? .. No – no, not an investigative journalist! Shhhh A re-port-er, to re – port what we think, just the way we think it. No, we don't need balance - we just need the right message!”  Of course they wouldn’t want an “investigative” journalist on the job, because that might involved "balance"!.  And worse, in the past, investigative journalists who have taken the time and energy to do their own research have become ultra critical of IMAC pre-digested soundbites. Read Full Blog

"Ethical differences" Part Two.

Hilary Butler - Tuesday, May 04, 2010

And my final comment on this issues.  Sheldon from "vaccineswork" will be writing a blog about this blog, to discuss his version of the difference between the ethics of provaccine people, and the lack of ethics of anti-vaccine people. For those new to this particular post, please see the original post and then the first post after Sheldon contacted me before reading any further. Read Full Blog

The ethical difference between the provax and the antivax is

Hilary Butler - Tuesday, May 04, 2010

apparently... that the antivaccine rarely admit their own mistakes, whereas provaccine people value truth very highly, and always admit their mistakes and move on. Apparently, I have failed in an ethical challenge, because a vaccine defender, is trying to make out that in this post I'm saying that all the influenza formulations are just seasonal ones with the H1N1 added into it.  Given that most of you have me on RSS and regularly receive what I write, and know what I've said in the past, I'll let you be the judge as to whether that's what I think, or said. The contact us form received just before lunch today (from someone who has never read here before, according to my burearat tracker) which said: Read Full Blog

Children's flu vaccines as from this week.

Hilary Butler - Tuesday, May 04, 2010

In response to some questions after yesterday's blog, Fluvax was mainly used in adults here during March, so it's not been so much of an issue in this country in terms of children. The two vaccines being offered to children are Influvac and Vaxigrip. The pdfs for all three was in an earlier post, but they are embedded here under the names in the first sentence. Read Full Blog

Multiple vaccines overloading infant's immune systems?

Hilary Butler - Monday, May 03, 2010

"Not possible!" said Dr Paul Offit who believes that the medical profession can happily inject babies with up to 100,000 vaccines at any one time, and the baby's immune system will be just fine. This "dogma" is repeated by all and sundry, including GP's, IMAC and many other medics on autopilot. The theoretical "mathematical model" Dr Offit touted, has just taken it's second "hit" in two years. The first was when they added chickenpox to the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine (MMRV) which caused an increase in high fevers and seizures, and the second has been adding H1N1 into the children's seasonal flu vaccine in Australia, which has also caused an increase in fevers and seizures.  Not that you'd know it, by the way CSL and other "stakeholders" are trying to say nothing, to keep this out of the news.   Read Full Blog

Little porkies and big porkies

Hilary Butler - Thursday, April 29, 2010

OPEN LETTER : Dear Drs Michael Osterholm, Kris Ehresmann and Ed Belangia; None of you get it, do you?  You say you “know the idea that the flu vaccine doesn't prevent deaths in the elderly sounds almost blasphemous” and that you “didn't really want to believe it at first either,” but that the new research is “incontrovertible”? The new research is no less “incontrovertible” than the research done between 1960 and 1976, which showed exactly the same - and Dr J Anthony Morris’s honesty, lost him his job in FDA. Can’t nuke the bread-and-butter of all vaccines, the annual flu-vax till ringer! And yes, that’s what was said!  Read Full Blog
